Steak can be marinated and seasoned in a thousand different ways. I love just simple salt and pepper. That’s it. Let the steak speak for itself. We sear on the floor of our wood-fired oven and finish on the OFYR grill. Amazing!
Season both sides of steaks. Place on a screaming-hot surface to sear, turning after 1 minute. Put steaks on the grill method of your choice. Let cook for 7 minutes per side for medium-rare. Longer for doneness preference. Let rest 10 minutes before carving. Pour juices back over carved steak and serve.
